You just know you’ve hit the big leagues, the top of the whammy cake, Everest peak, when you manage to kidnap the President of the United States in a classic 1963 Corvette Stingray and no-one bats an eye. That’s the level of madcap power Jerry Seinfeld wields.
No stranger to poking fun of himself, and with less than a year to go under his belt, President Obama ditches his Secret Service detail for a walk on the town with the legendary funny man. It is a part of Jerry’s seventh season lineup for his renowned web-series: “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
But, this should come as no surprise as even during Obama’s firts year, amidst debates following his Medicare initiative, the jolly POTUS took time away and sat down with Zach Galifianakis, for a stern and at times bewildering discussion in “Between Two Ferns”.
Already, the BBC clip courtesy of Crackle, is racking up views and cashing in much needed PR gold for the outgoing Democratic big-shot. Can’t wait for Jerry to flex his muscles throughout the season. Here’s a quick Max Longstone wish list of popular personalities the jester should place in the vintage hot-seat: The Pope, Donald Trump, President Maduro of Venezuela, Kim-Jong Un, and (just cause I know he has the cloud) God.
