If you’ve been on Facebook or Twitter in the past week chances are you’ve seen #ForceForDaniel. Daniel Fleetwood is a 32-year-old Star Wars mega-fan that was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, a rare form of cancer which doctors have said will result in him not making it until Christmas.
When Daniel told a local news station that the hope of watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens was giving him daily motivation to stay alive, the internet did what it did best it erupted in support to get Disney to let Daniel see the movie before its release date.

Well, thanks to the wonderful world of the internet, Daniel’s wish was granted. TMZ reported that Disney execs showed up and Daniel’s home and let him watch an unedited version of the movie… Under strict security and after signing a confidentiality agreement.
